What
is included in a trash out of a foreclosed home? Trash out
refers to removing items left by the tenant. Most foreclosed
homes are left in poor condition and trash out includes an
initial cleaning of sweeping, vacuuming and mopping. We can also
provide housekeeping service if further cleaning is desired. The
exterior is cleared of debris, mowed and weed whipped if needed.
Photos are taken before and after.
What
happens if the foreclosed house is still occupied? Is
complete, generally the authorities are notified. We will work
with the tenant to make the move out as uncomplicated as
possible.
How
are bids provided? During the initial inspection we make a
detailed list of work needed. Any items that need attention are
photographed. We provide an itemized quote detailing your
options.
On
what basis are repairs recommended? Our goal is to maximize
the profit on the resale of your foreclosed property. Any
recommendation is based on the area market conditions.
What
repairs can you provide? We can handle most home repairs;
some common ones include electrical, plumbing, carpet, glass
replacement, etc. Often in foreclosed properties, light and
plumbing fixtures are removed. We can provide contractor bids
for any repairs beyond our scope.
Do you
provide any emergency service? We respond to emergencies
that could cause further damage to the property, leaking water
pipes for instance.
Do you
provide real estate agent services? We can refer you to an
agent who specializes in foreclosures in the area. |
